ABOUT THE CHARACTER:
25+, short and brilliant (with mustache and mop of thick dark hair), Alan Kay was leader of the Learning Research Group at Xerox PARC whose infectious enthusiasm and obsession with an interactive learning tool for kids, led to the creation of the ALTO computer (Interum Dynabook). His group (the LRG), was also known for their unique work ethic, which included Fun (see song below – ‘Shape of Learning’).
